Die Nationalstaaten haben europaweit die Sprachenvielfalt zur\u00fcckgedr\u00e4ngt zugunsten einer Nationalsprache. In S\u00fcdtirol verbot der Faschismus ab 1924 die deutschsprachige Schule. Mit Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs wurde ein Schulmodell eingerichtet, das die Bed\u00fcrfnisse aller drei Sprachgruppen ber\u00fccksichtigen sollte.<\/h3>\n

Als Amtssprachen sind Deutsch und Italienisch s\u00fcdtirolweit gleich\u00adgestellt, in den ladinischen Gebieten auch das Ladinische. Auch garantiert die Autonomie jeder dieser Sprach\u00adgruppen ihre eigene Schule. Die Mehrsprachigkeit ist f\u00fcr viele nach wie vor eine Herausforderung.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Eine gemeinsame mehrsprachige Schule ist in S\u00fcdtirol wegen der historischen Erfahrungen offiziell noch tabu. Die Schulwahl ist jedoch frei: Italienische Kinder k\u00f6nnen auf eine deutsche Schule gehen und umgekehrt. In Schulversuchen k\u00f6nnen inzwischen bis zu 50 Prozent des Unterrichts in der anderen Landessprache stattfinden. Italienische Schulen machen davon mehr Gebrauch.<\/p>\n

Sprache kann ausschlie\u00dfen \u2013 und verbinden. Neben den drei Amts\u00adsprachen Deutsch, Italienisch und Ladinisch hat in S\u00fcdtirol fast jedes Tal seinen eigenen Dialekt. Dazu kommen viele Migrationssprachen.
